After I bought the 16gb iPad, i've searching for a nice iPad case as i want a durable leather case. However, I cant find a nice one on the market and in HK. Thus, I decided to make my own iPad case. The photo show the case the final product, the stitching is not perfect coz i messed up the wax thread during stitching, and now my fingers hurt lol

1. I drew the layout of iPad case on the paper then stick it on the leather

2. Then Use a sharp cutter to cut the leather

3. Polish the edges of leather

4. Engrave the line along the edges

5. Engrave my name on leather

6. Dig the holes along the edges for stitching

7.Then lot of stitching stitching and stitching….

Time flies!!!! Remember my first figure Treeson was released in June 2006, and it's Ren now in 2010, 4 years! What did i do in these 4 years?! It's amazing and meaningful to me at the same time.

When i was working on this project, i really cant wait to tell you all the detail, and i think it's the happiest moment to share after all the hardwork! Yes 5" inch Ren is coming in July 2010, and you can preorder Ren at crazylabel now:

I knew there are some of my fav artists showing their art pieces in the art fair, and one of them is the chinese artist Liu Ye (劉野).

As i visited an art gallery in Taipei few years ago, I was amazed by Liu Ye's artwork, and i knew one of his painting Teresa Tang was sold at high price, and i really enjoy all his painting!

I've been busy n lazy lately! I finished a month leather workshop recently, it's my first time to learn how to make leather products which i always want to learn

Thus, from April to May, my friends and i visited the workshop at Wing Lee Street every Sunday, the leather workshop is called Fungusworkshop! The workshop is located next to wing lee street, it is a lovely neat place with all beautiful handmade leather products by 4 talented designers (our teachers!).

My friends and I went for yummy food in SOHO and hollywood road before attending the workshop, so we all woke up early! Then we spent 2 hours at the workshop, we had lot of fun and satisfaction after we made and learn something from the workshop.

I have to thank you to Philip, Grace, Homing and Baldwin, they are all friendly and nice teachers!

After 4 lessons, here are what i made

Happy Creative 2010 Year!

I hate to look back but what i did in the past seem nothing important now, i have to move on and i hope i can witness the history in 2012 onward…

In 2009, there are some projects i promised and the deadline is around jan to march in 2010, and today i got the lovely Jibitbuts boxset by a group of creative artists Noferin, which is one of the custom projects i promised.

They are beautifully made just like all artwork by Noferin, i m excited of joining this project

The following are not a good quality of photos as i found my desk is full of messy stuff, i dont have a decent space to take good pic coz at the same time, my other desk is placing another artwork to dry…still lot to do in this new year
