i m honored to be invited by loulou and tummie to contribute my artwork to their first exhibition in Hong Kong, so i chose one of the lovely tummie’s friend Mr.Macaroon to draw, and here is the introduction of Mr.Macaroon.
As Mr.Macaroon is bitter tasting cookie, and he doesnt smile, so i think he would have chemistry when he meet Treeson.

Is a bitter tasting cookie made from bitter almonds that once
lived on the Sugarhill.
…But long ago the others bullied him because of his strange
bitter taste… That is why he decided to run away and live on
his own floating island near Sugarhill. There he makes his evil
plans together with his gang called ‘the Bitter Bullies’ !

The Tummie Friends: Adventures on Sugarhill – IN HONG KONG
BUBU CO www.bubuco.com/ has teamed up with Netherland designers LouLou & Tummie to produce a line of plush toys and accessories based on “The Tummie Friends – Adventures on Sugar Hill.”
The Tummiefriends all live on ‘Sugarhill’. This place is sweet! It lies between ‘Chocovalley’ and ‘Bittercity’. On ‘Sugarhill’, ‘Candy Sandie’ and her friends grow all of the treats you’ve ever dreamt of! They grow the best candy in the world!
In anticipation of this release, BUBU Co. and LouLou & Tummie will be launching an original website, www.thetummiefriends.com/, dedicated to the Tummie & Friends line as well as holding an exhibition at Hong Kong’s Delay No Mall with Tummie’s live painting and signing session to boot. Join us on July 3rd from 7pm to 9pm at 68 Yee Wo Street in Causeway bay for a great show.
The exhibition will feature artists from around the world and their own interpretation of some of the Tummie & Friends characters and will be on display from July 3rd to July 14th. Artists will include: LouLou, Tado, Charuca, Clementine (Bupla),Bubi Au Yeung(Treeson), Juliana,(Colorblok), Mark Verhagen, Sauerkids, Easy Hey (delkographik), Cecy Meade and Zeptonn.
Treeson and Other Stories Blindbox Series 1 figures will be released at Taipei Toy Fair 2009, and this is the project i m most looking forward to see the result, and after countlessly modification, i really excited and happy to see them turn out so nice!

I think his post is quite funny, when it lie down, it become slim 
When I designed the above package, i have bitter sweet feeling, coz i have a day time job, at that time i was suffering pressure from work , and keep working on the new treeson and other projects after work. They are released finally, the process is never easy, and involve lot of work , such as the bubblefun, we revised the package design many many times, and i played with the font when designing the bubblefun package, and i remember the name "bubblefun" is not yet come up, it was during i design the package, i think of the name "bubblefun", then the simple slogan "so much fun" just pop up in my mind "bubblefun – so much fun" simple and easy to remember hahaha.

I have to thank you 7 artists, Gaston Caba, Malota, APAK, Gavin from JamFactory, Peskimo, TADO, Sonni who participate in the first series of bubblefun artist series, they finish the design within a very short period, i really appreciate their help a lot !
In my impression and observation, some tourist spots and gift shops in Hong Kong start to import more and more designer toys here, and all i can see are those dunny toys, and even some of the malls put those dunny bunny figures which different customization, the purpose is to attract young people and think it’s a "creative" sign.
To me, frankly, it’s not a new or fresh idea, when u walk in the mall, always see dunny or other creature figures with different paint or pattern, i feel bored…
I just want to say that creative idea surrounding us everywhere, like when your are chewing a bubblegum, reading a comic book, chatting with your friends in online game, …etc, what would u think of? it’s bubble, it’s something i always like to draw in my illustration, and we decide to let Treeson to spread this fun with you.
I hope people would see more of the creative idea turn into something fun and inspiring, and it’s all i love to do…

"Hello, my name is Treeson".
I like to say it out loud every morning,
it sounds like I am talking to someone…
Every morning, before the moment I am going to "wake up",
I would keep lying on the bed and ask myself a question…
"Do I exisit in this world?"
While asking myself the question, I try to get close to the light from the window, in order to feel the warmth of this world.
I hope the sun can answer my question.
Then I lie on my bed, enjoy the moment of existence.
Without the warmth, I knew I’d fade out gradually…
The world still move on without me…
I took the above photos in the afternoon, while i was looking at the photos, i decided to link them together to make a story.
I found it’s very difficult to find someone that really understand me, even myself
