The Tummie Friends: Adventures on Sugarhill – IN HONG KONG

If you love illustration, you would enjoy loulou & tummie illustration or artwork very much, and i always enjoy their work!
Henry from BUBU CO who is passionate about toys, he teamed up with loulou & tummie to produce a new line of plush toys which i m so looking forward! Loulou & Tummie will have an exhibition in Hong Kong soon, and i m honored to be invited to contribute an artwork, so please check it out the following information , and they will come to Hong Kong too!

BUBU CO http://www.bubuco.com/ has teamed up with Netherland designers LouLou & Tummie to produce a line of plush toys and accessories based on “The Tummie Friends – Adventures on Sugar Hill.”

The Tummiefriends all live on ‘Sugarhill’. This place is sweet! It lies between ‘Chocovalley’ and ‘Bittercity’. On ‘Sugarhill’, ‘Candy Sandie’ and her friends grow all of the treats you’ve ever dreamt of! They grow the best candy in the world!

In anticipation of this release, BUBU Co. and LouLou & Tummie will be launching an original website, http://www.thetummiefriends.com/, dedicated to the Tummie & Friends line as well as holding an exhibition at Hong Kong’s Delay No Mall with Tummie’s live painting and signing session to boot. Join us on July 3rd from 7pm to 9pm at 68 Yee Wo Street in Causeway bay for a great show.

The exhibition will feature artists from around the world and their own interpretation of some of the Tummie & Friends characters and will be on display from July 3rd to July 14th. Artists will include: LouLou, Tado, Charuca, Clementine (Bupla),Bubi Au Yeung(Treeson), Juliana,(Colorblok), Mark Verhagen, Sauerkids, Easy Hey (delkographik), Cecy Meade and Zeptonn.

Brush pen and doodle

I bought the above pens tonight, and cant wait to try some of them, they are Pentel brush pen, Tachikawa comic brush pens and Pentel brush pen with cartridge.
I tried to doodle a drawing by using Tachikawa comic brush pens, they are good and run smooth on paper, i like them a lot!

I create coz i am stressed…

When I added the above graphic to facebook and flickr, some of my friends think i should be quite happy these days.
i can say it’s partly correct, coz i am seriously stressed, but i got lot of "thinking", so those design or graphic work is the result of my energy or emotion release…
I also think about the story for Mr.Nerd, Mr.Nerd Bro, Mr. DotDot Mouse and Mr.Charlie DotDot, here is the silly story or character background:

I applied the full time position of Mr.Charlie DotDot in DotDot Land at the beginning, but the position is taken, so I have to work as a freelance Mr.DotDot Mouse until the position of Mr.Charlie DotDot is available again…
I am stressed coz i still dont quite understand the mind of Mr.DotDot Mouse, i think i didnt do my job well…
Besides, I am scare of Miss.DotDot Mouse, she always bully me

Few days ago, i was quite pissed by my friend, who keep asking me about my job, and question me why i feel tired of just work at normal hour. Firstly, i didnt mad at my friend, coz we knew each other for ages, but my friend never understand my situation, and always wonder why my job is so unstable. 

Well, i just speechless sometime, why i cant be tired becoz of just working on my daily job? I need to concentrate and "think" all the time, guess not becoz i work in creative field, i think most of those who is working hard to finish their job would be exhausted after 8-9 hours work!  I dont have energy to explain, I dont want to talk to anybody.
